For over 60 years, the Winter Park Optimist Baseball Program has provided a nurturing, instructional, and competitive environment for tens of thousands of children in the Greater Wilmington, North Carolina Area. Our league offers an opportunity for children ages 4-12, both boys and girls, regardless of their background or skill level to participate in recreational activities that focus on creating an enjoyable experience, building friendships, developing skills and providing an opportunity for friendly competition.  Our rules and policies are evaluated each year to provide a fair, transparent, and fun atmosphere for the players.
